New Executive for Mutual & Federal

Mutual & Federal has hired a new executive Lindsay Robertson takes position of GM for Specialist and External Platform Business.

Mutual & Federal, South Africa's leading insurance group, announced that it has made a new senior executive appointment.

Lindsay Robertson will be serving as Mutual & Federal's new General Manager for Specialist and External Platform Business.

Robertson, who has over 25 years experience in the insurance business, slipped into her new role at the beginning of the month.

She has served before in Mutual & Federal as National Group Sales Manager and Group Manager for Insurance Operations Support.

Speaking about her new position, Robertson said: "I look forward to the added responsibility and professional challenges this new position will bring, and I'm confident that the experience gained from my previous roles within Mutual & Federal will enable me to fulfills this new role effectively."

Mutual & Federal is a short term insurance provider and member of the Old Mutual Group.

The business provides personal, commercial and corporate insurance and serves Southern Africa, including Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and, of course, South Africa.

Mutual & Federal is active in social causes, with the group recently donating nearly R100,000 to an NGO that empowers rural women in socio-economic fields of development.

The donation to Women's Action for Development (WAD) was done together with Old Mutual and Nedbank.
