Fedhealth, one of South Africa's leading private medical schemes, has
been rated as top provider of service by an independent website.
ThinkMoney.co.za is an online financial comparison website that runs
independent surveys on a wide range of financial products in South Africa.
For the past two and half years, the website has been researching products
that include insurance, medical aid, loans and banking products.
ThinkMoney.co.za released the results of its survey to show that South
Africa's fourth largest medical scheme, Fedhealth is tops for service.
The scheme scored 3.99 out of a potential five for service that it offers to
its clients.
Subscribers gave this score after examining best service, best level of cover
and the best payouts process.
According to the survey, a very significant 76% of customers who are
currently covered by Fedhealth would not hesitate to recommend the scheme to
their friends, family or acquaintances.
In terms of complaints, there were the least number of those against
Fedhealth compared to any other medical scheme surveyed by the financial
comparison website.
"We are delighted with the result," said the Chief Executive Officer of
Fedhealth, Katy Caldis. "At Fedhealth, we take service very seriously. The
scheme makes use of independent quarterly member satisfaction tracker studies,
the results of which enable the scheme as well as the administrator, Medschme,
to identify trends and to act on any negative related issues immediately."
The results come at the time when many South Africans are seeking ways to
receive the best value for their hard earned money when it comes to financial
services.
